“What I love most about dentistry is the connection with people. Most people I meet day-to-day don’t like the dentist, so I typically make a joke and say, “well I’m not the dentist.”  But jokes aside, when you are able to build a relationship with someone and not only gain their trust in an uncomfortable environment, it helps them feel more at ease. Seeing a person’s oral health change from not only what I did but the guidance and advice given that they took to heart–that is, once the patient notices a change in their oral health, their attitude toward dentistry also seems to change for the better– those will always be moments that stand out for me.”

• Food: I could never limit myself to just one. I love food and want to try everything twice and I also love to cook.
• Book: Although it changes, right now it is The Women by Kristin Hannah- It’s about women who served in the Vietnam war.

• Music: Again, this is something I love and my mood really influences what I like at the moment. I will say some of my current favorites are John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Rush or any classic rock, and Your Smith.
